Dr. Goldstein is Director of the X-ray Diffraction Facility. The facility consists of a state-of-the-art Rigaku R-Axis IV image plate area detector mounted on a 2-q stage, RU200 rotating anode generator with mirror optics, and liquid a nitrogen-based crystal freezing device. Associated computational and graphics facilities include several SGI Indigo 2 workstations. Graphics and computational packages include SYBYL, QUANTA (with X-auto fit and X-power fit) and CNS.The X-ray facility is located in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics.
